Awesome Organic Chemistry Flashcards
This app aims to help you memorise topics quickly by testing your knowledge of organic chemistry using flashcards and appears as shown below on the apple app store:
The app is successful in doing this using multiple choice style layout which was used heavily in the exams of 1st year chemistry at Strathclyde. For this reason and considering the topics covered it would be more suited to 1st and 2nd year university students. The app is quick and snappy style questions so becomes quite an addictive educational game to play and pass time. One thing this app did which I haven’t come across to date is gives and explanation of the correct answer beneath the next question with a link to more information on the answered topic.
This app is free to download on android and apple products with IOS 8 or later and works on both iphone and ipad. It works incredibly smoothly with a nice flow and lagging hasnt been noticed. You can also filter the topics which you want to be quizzed on. The only improvement I could suggest would be to include a points system/breakdown of marks at the end this makes it more motivating to better yourself.
