Introduction to the blog
Hello, welcome to our blog, Application Reviews for Chemistry Students (ARCS for short). We are 5 (promising) undergrad students studying Chemistry who have created this blog for our final year communications project. This blog aims to provide entertaining/informal reviews of these chemistry apps ranging from interactive tools, to exam revision & games.
The devices we will be using to review the apps are a mixture of both apple and android to try gain a wider range of variety user experiences. The devices we will be using are; iphone 10 ios 13.3.1, iphone 5s ios 13.3.1, Samsung S10 google pixel slate and iphone 8 ios 13.3.1.
We will be judging the apps based on the following criteria:
1. Is the app suitable for its intended purpose
2. How well does the app complete this task
3. Does the app run well
4. What are the minimum requirements for the app
5. Is the app paid or free (or come with in-app purchases)
6. How does the app compare to similar apps
7. Any issues or missing features of the app
8. Anything unique about the app missing from other apps
We will be giving each app a rating out of 5 as well as comparing our reviews to other user reviews on each app store and giving a final verdict on the app.
